is that offensive? Well, I'm about to express an opinion that might make me unpopular.

First I'll say that I have every right to talk about overweight people because I used to be one. Like, seriously overweight.

I used to be FAT. Like,

There are various reasons for being overweight. For some it's genetic. For some it's a biological abberation that they have no control over. For some it's a mental/emotional issue. I was the last one.

I have all sympathy for people who suffer from those because it IS suffering.

But if you're reason for being fat is because you're fucking lazy

then I have no sympathy for you at all

I had a problem... actually that problem still exists but I got help and I worked my FAT ASS off to not be fat anymore. Jesus, if I overcame what I did then laziness just won't cut it.

Ok, that's all preamble to explain how I feel about being fat. What set that rant off is as follows:

Everybody knows I love Power Girl. She's my Hero, my Comic Book role model and my treasured sexual fantasy.

Then I come across something like this:

and I see all these comments about how great it is.

Now, there's no question that the artist is talented. I wish I had that kind of talent. But how the fuck does anyone find that attractive? And I see this kind of thing ALL OVER DA.

Where did this attitude come from that it's "ok" to be FAT? It's HORRIBLE to be fat. Please tell me ONE good thing about being fat! Do you have any idea of what carrying that weight around does to your heart? I DO.

And to see my idol turned into this and applauded as beautiful just turns my stomach.
